Phu Quoc, Vietnam is an island in the south and as of this writing, it continues to build and grow to attract more visitors. The island is usually not at the top of scuba diving destinations, but the island can offer more than we expected. So, we contacted Phu Quoc Diving Club to use their scuba diving services. Going to the Scuba Diving Sites – Phu Quoc Diving Club

We woke up early and went to the gathering area, it’s just a few minutes away from our hotel. The dive packages usually include pick-up from your hotel, so you do not have to worry about it.

Each boat has two floors, the first floor is the main floor, and the second floor is more of an area to chill and watch the ocean.

Getting Ready – Phu Quoc Diving Club

There was an introduction and reminders to the divers while we got ready to dive. All of the gear, video, and pictures will be provided to you, so you don’t have to worry about it.

Time to Dive!

There were two diving sites to visit and it both look like this one from above (haha). So, here are some of the interesting things we saw deep under.

As soon as we went down, we immediately saw lots of fish!  They look like dead leaves from afar but these are all fishes!

Surprisingly, marine life in Phu Quoc is also good! There are a lot of fishes that we commonly see like this Clown Fish and Sea Anemone.

Here’s another clown Fish and Sea Anemone tandem but in another color. It’s so cool to see a white Sea Anemone!

I was so happy to see a lot of marine life since I am celebrating my birthday on the same day as our dive.

There’s a small school of Barracuda during our second dive, which is always so cool to see.

This is one of our favorite coral, it looks like chubby Starfish that were sticked to each other hahaha.

After the Dive

After diving, we had lunch on the boat and got to know some of the tourists too! They were from Germany, Ireland, France, and the two girls are Filipinos too but they are based in other countries.

We had fun during the dive and we can’t wait to be back and do this all over again.

Overall we were surprised to see that Phu Quoc is a good place to take a dive too. Their packages,even the licensing, are all affordable.
