Trifoglio Ristorante
We easily saw the restaurant because it’s just right beside the amphitheater of Fora Mall Tagaytay.
So we immediately went inside ? It looked like the food in the restaurant is good.
The restaurant inside reminded us some parts of Italy, like this wall which has an image of Cinque Terre.
The table setting inside the restaurant also looks good.
For first impressions, the restaurant looks good 🙂
The Menu
Trifolio Ristorante has a lot of Italian food choices. It’s our first time in the restaurant so we have decided to order some of their bestsellers.
The Food
While we waited for our food, bread and pesto and Tomato paste were given.
Well, we did not waited too long. Our food were here! Yey!
Carpaccio De Manzo – Antipasti
Just like in a fine dining set up, the restaurant served the antipasti first. In a formal Italian meal, antipasti is the traditional first course. Antipasti is translated as appetizer.
We ordered the Carpaccio Di Manzo. The dish was made out of raw beef which was thinly sliced, and marinated with Lemon and Olive oil. It was served with sliced Parmesan cheese and Arugula.
The dish was delicious and we wish we ordered more of these hahaha. ?
Tip: Sprinkle the Lemon juice, and eat the Carpaccio together with the Parmesan cheese and the Arugula.
Insalata Cesare – Insalata
After the antipasti, we had our insalata, or salad in English.
For Italians, they usually have their salad last. It’s the other way around for Filipinos ?
We ordered the Insalata Cesare also known as Caesar’s Salad. It was composed of the Caesar’s salad ingredients such as the Romaine Lettuce, Caesar dressing, chicken, croutons, shaved Parmesan cheese, and bacon bites.
At first we thought that it was just the “usual” salad, but no! their version of the famous salad was more delicious! ? The Romaine lettuce was so crisp! The chicken was grilled, not just the usual grill but it was grilled to perfection! The chicken tastes like smoke from the grill! Uhmmm YUM! Lastly, all of the ingredients were perfectly tossed all together. There was no spot without the dressing!
Marinara – Primo Piatto
Our third course was from the Primo Piatto Menu. Primo Piatto is another course in a formal Italian meal which are usually composed of pasta. Usually Italians eat their pasta first, then the meat, but we did not order any main course (dishes in the Secondo Piatto Menu). Maybe next time, we’ll order some when we come back 🙂
We ordered the Marinara which was a pasta dish made out of mixed seafood with fresh tomato.
We have noticed that the serving size was generous and the ingredients were plenty! Just look at our pasta dish, it was loaded with seafood!
Customers have an option to choose the kind of pasta, and the kind of sauce for every pasta dish. Pasta choices are Spaghetti, Fettuccine, Penne, Linguine, and Capellini. While the sauce bases are tomato, cream, and olive oil.
Capricciosa – Pizza
Italian dishes should be complete if there is pizza! If there is pizza, it’s just only pizza for Italians.
We ordered Capricciosa, the restaurant’s best seller pizza.
It was made out of mushrooms, onion, bell peppers, ham, and an egg cracked in the middle! Ohhh so cute! IG worthy!
We also think the pizza has a secret ingredient… an alcoholic drink… drizzles of wine perhaps? It made the pizza more appetizing! 🙂
The pizza that we ordered is just the medium size. Even though it was the smallest size, the pizza was already big. We think it can be served up to 4 people.
Here is a glimpse of the mouth-watering food 🙂
We were so eager to eat all of the food!
Tiramisu – Dolci
After all of the courses, we asked our dessert to be served. Dessert is Dolci in Italian 🙂
Their best seller was the Tiramisu, so we ordered one. Tiramisu is a popular coffee-flavored Italian dessert.
Their Tiramisu was adorably decorated with chocolate syrup, chocolate powder, and mint leaves.
Other features
Wine and other alcoholic drinks were also being served in the restaurant.
The restaurant has a view of the amphitheater. So whatever the decorations in the amphitheater is, that is also your view. For Busy, he has a good view of me while I was roaming around the restaurant to take photos ?
After eating, we had some left overs. The waiter and waitresses were very nice, they have the initiative to ask if we wanted our left overs taken out.

Happy and Busy’s Smileys
Food
The food were delicious and the serving was plenty.
Location
The restaurant is located in Fora mall, a mall easy to find in Tagaytay.
Ambiance
The restaurant plays classic Italian music which turns everybody in Italian mood.
Value for money
The prices of the dishes were just right.
Service
The staff were very courteous, and they have the initiative. Their general manager, Daryl was hands-on in managing the restaurant, he makes sure that everything is in place.
Comfort Room
There is just one comfort room in the restaurant but it was sparkly clean. As of our visit, they were the only restaurant in Fora Mall with a comfort room. 🙂
We would like to introduce Daryl, the general manager of the restaurant. He may be young, but he manages the restaurant impressively.
He was a bit camera shy, but we managed to take a picture with him 🙂
Thank you for the warm welcome!
