First Impressions
Asian Village Tagaytay was easy to find. We just followed what google maps told us.
We easily saw the entrance, so we went inside to check in.
PM (cool name), the receptionist at that time, checked us in.
By the way, PM was our favorite staff during our stay in the resort. She was very hospitable and very informative.
While waiting for our room, we relaxed in their waiting area and had our welcome drinks.
Bali Room – Our Room
Our room was the first room from the reception area, we can immediately take a sneak.
Here was the view before going inside our room.
We were not yet going inside our room but we already felt that were somewhere far from the city ?
Features of the Room
Our room was pretty! ? It was decorated simply but right on the theme!
The Bed
The lights were intelligently positioned. I love the light below the bed, it was like telling me to go to bed early ?
Of course we immediately jumped on the bed 🙂
Just look at the huge Buddha head!
As mentioned in the resort’s Facebook page, this room was rented by a lot of celebrities already, including Claudine Baretto 🙂
Ventilation
Our room has an air-conditioning unit, and a ceiling fan. But the temperature in Tagaytay is already cold, that’s why we only used the appliances in the morning. Oh by the way, an electric fan was also available in the room.
Snacks
The resort provides snacks inside the room of each guests. These snacks are free!
Oh yes you do not have to pay for the snacks! and drinks!
Others
A Television and a desk were available.
Guests can also make their own coffee.
Inside the cabinet, hangers, an umbrella, a cash box, extra bed sheets, and two slippers were available.
Comfort Room
The shower area of the comfort room was cool! Taking a shower while looking into the glass with shadows of the plants was charming.
Hot and Cold water were available.
The toilet bowl and the sink were simply designed.
Toiletries such as tissue paper, tooth brush, tooth paste, body soap, and shampoo, and two bath towels were also available.
View from the Room
Our room has a view of the swimming pool and the Pineapple plantation.
Asian Village Tagaytay’s Amenities
The Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi
The resort has a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi.
To experience the bubbles from the Jacuzzi, guests can just ask the staff of the resort to open it.
The swimming pool of the resort is 4 ft deep.
Just right for my height ???
Do not forget to take a shower before going in the pool. Their shower area looks cute!
Busy and I do not want to swim in the morning because it will make our skin darker ? So we waited for the night.
It was more beautiful at night! ?
The vibe of the Jacuzzi and the swimming pool became more romantic because of the lights.
We were not afraid of the cold temperature in Tagaytay because the pool was heated 🙂
The resort has 2 heaters, but usually in the cold months of Tagaytay the water might not be too warm.
The Picnic Area
The staff started arranging the picnic area during sunset.
Before the sun sets, Busy and I had our merienda picnic. (merienda = snack in the afternoon)
Busy and I ordered some snacks from the resort.
Look at the clubhouse! It looks perfectly made!
The proportion of the bread, veggies, cheese, and ham were superb! I think this was made with love ?
Aside from the looks, the clubhouse also tastes good!
Our second dish was the Banana Turon.
Turon is a classic Filipino snack made out of ripe Banana, wrapped in Lumpia wrapper with brown sugar, and deep fried. The resort’s Banana Turon was leveled up! They added Chocolate syrup, and Chocolate Ice cream with a Cherry on top ?
We ended our picnic when it was already dark. The area was more romantic ?
I would like to have nights like this forever! ?
Camping Area
Over the fence of the resort, there were horses. It’s not the first time that we saw horses, but it was cool to have them just over the fence of the resort.
Just beside the fence near the horses, the camping area of the resort is located.
Camping tents can be set up here if there are campers, but during our stay, there were no campers. So the staff placed large tents with curtains to prepare for the bon fire ?
Then the night came! The bon fire was lit up! ?
If the guest prefer tables and chairs, they can stay here and enjoy the heat from the fire.
Or seat on the pillows on the ground.
Busy and I preferred this one.
This was a good way to end our night 🙂
The Surroundings
Going out of the room was also a good idea.
Busy and I waited for the sun to be covered by the clouds again before getting taking our picture haha.
The resort’s utility room also caught our attention. Even though it’s just a utility room, it was decorated in line with the resort’s theme.
Here is another part of the resort. If you wish to have a quick access in the pool you have to stay in these rooms.
The area was even better at night.
Special Dinner
A dining hall is available for guests to enjoy the delicious dishes of the restaurant.
To our surprise, the resort prepared a very special dinner for us. ?
Thank you very much for the romantic dinner! ??? WE LOVE IT!
We love the arrangement of the dinning table, and of course the yummy dishes!
We highly recommend this dish. The dish was not salty and we tasted the freshness of the ingredients. The squid was not over cooked, the mussels were tasty, and the salmon was a surprise.
The Beef Caldereta was wonderfully presented. I love the butterflies and flower garnish. The dish was also delicious, the vegetables were still crispy, and the beef was soft.
This one is my favorite! I ate a lot of rice because of this one! ? The Pork Sisig was yummy and very crunchy!
Other Rooms
We were lucky to had the chance to look into the different types of rooms the resort has. When we checked in, there were just 2 groups in the resort.
The comfort rooms, and other features of the rooms in the resort are almost the same.
Just like the entrance of this room, it looks almost the same as the other rooms.
Chinese Rooms
The resort has a room that can accommodate up to 4 people. This Chinese Room is one of them.
Another Chinese Room was prepared by the staff. A romantic set up! ?
I think one of the incoming guests requested their room to created in this way. Is he going to propose to his girlfriend? ? ohhhh I wanna watch!!!
This Chinese Room is good for 2 people.
As I have mentioned earlier, the resort specializes in personalizing your stay. 🙂 If you wanted to make the vibe romantic, you can ask them to prepare this romantic set up.
Filipino Room
Of course they also have a Filipino Room!
They decorated the wall with the traditional Capiz shells window.
Japanese Rooms
Just like one of the Chinese rooms, this Japanese Room was prepared. This time it was prepared for a surprise birthday party.
I think the celebrant loves blue and yellow. ?
The Japanese Rooms were the latest addition to the resort. They also have a different comfort room than the other rooms.
The other Japanese room looks a bit different than the room above. The room looks sophisticated ?
It also has a great view of the pool. If you want quick access to the pool, you have to book this one.
Main House
Aside from the rooms, guests can rent a whole house in the resort.
The house can accommodate 22 – 25 people, and it is priced at Php 25,000 per night.
Inside the Main House
The house has two floors.
Busy and I enjoyed the living room already.
A television with good sound system was available.
Guests can also sing their hearts out with the karaoke 🙂
A very spacious area was also available.
Kitchen
Bringing of food in the main house is permitted. The cooking utensils, stove, and dining set can be used.
The refrigerator can be also used during the guest’s stay in the house.
After we visited the kitchen, we moved up to the second floor.
The second floor also has a living room.
The area has a lovely wall decoration.
The Rooms
The main house has a total of 6 rooms, 3 fan rooms, and 3 air-conditioned rooms.
Room 1
This room was the largest room, it has a double bed, and 2 double deck beds.
It has a dresser and it is connected to a comfort room.
Room 2
Room 3
The bath towels for each guest in the room were placed on the bed.
Room 4
This one is a fan room with four double deck beds, and a cabinet.
Room 5
Four double deck beds are in this room, plus a wall cabinet, and this one is air-conditioned.
Room 6
Comfort Rooms
There were a total of 4 comfort rooms in the house.
Multipurpose Hall
Different events can be held in the resort through their multipurpose hall.
The hall looks like this in the morning.
The chairs and tables, white board, plus the sound system can be prepared in different ways, just tell the staff and they will do it happily 🙂
At night, the multipurpose hall looks like this
Check out
We have to check out at 11PM in the evening because we have a job the next day. We were again surprised because the resort has a souvenir! ?
The letter was even hand written 🙂 The staff of the resort do their job with their heart.
Thank you so much for our wonderful stay!
Conclusion
The resort was in soft opening during our visit, but even though they are still in soft opening, we had a terrific experience. The rooms were good, the facilities were complete, lastly, the service was superb!

Happy and Busy’s Smileys
Cleanliness
The resort was well maintained. There were no dirt or trash around.
Facilities
The there were a lot of facilities and they were all well maintained.
Service
We got an excellent service! From the manager Ms. Kyla by responding fast to our queries, and the staff in the resort did their best in their job. I would like to recommend PM for assisting us in our stay. Ms. Kyla Lapus is the General Manager of Asian Village Tagaytay, and the Owner of Citimix Property Leasing which manages and operates the hotel.
Value for money
The rates of the resort were very reasonable, considering what were included in one’s stay. We were surprised that the snacks and mini-cake inside the room were free, together with the coffee and tea! Also with the welcome drink and a small farewell token. Suffice to say that their rates were very competitive.
Location
We had to go through a small road to get to the entrance, but it was okay. There were also several establishments in that road. In the future the resort has a plan to expand the resort, and they will have an entrance just beside the road.
Ambiance
We love the ambiance, it looks like we are not in a city.
Food
The food were delicious!
We would also like to thank their hotel manager for constantly checking up on us 🙂 and doing this wacky photo ?
Cheers to more staycations!
