Checking in Nigi Nigi Nu Noos
When Busy and I arrived in Cabag Port, we took a tricycle and we were dropped in the alley near Nigi Nigi. The resort was already famous in Boracay so everybody know the resort. We easily found it in Station 2, along the beach area. By the way the resort has a long name so people usually call it Nigi Nigi 🙂
The entrance was just at the left side of the restaurant.
After a few steps, we found the reception area. We were checked in and we were accompanied to our room.
We passed by this sign, which prompts that we were in the hotel area.
Shortly after passing by the sign, we saw the beautiful cottages of the resort. We booked the deluxe room so we know that we will b staying in these cottages ?
We arrived in our room, the Cattleya Room.
Our room has a balcony! We can chill here!
When we entered the room, we immediately saw the cool decors and the bed.
The room has a lot of windows, so from the bed, we have a great view of the garden.
The room was spacious, and has some furniture, like this native chair.
The room also has a clothes rack, with a chair.
A television with cable channels, refrigerator, safe, and air-conditioning unit were available.
Complimentary water were also given.
There were other drinks available, but of course these were not complimentary anymore ?
The room also has cool decorations, like this dragon, and the native mask.
The comfort room of the room was also good. Toiletries such as towels, tissue papers, shampoo, toothbrush, and toothpaste were available.
I was surprised there were a lot of tissue papers hahaha we were just there for 1 night but we were given 4 rolls of tissue paper. Another plus was the bidet! ? we love toilet bowls partnered with bidet hahaha.
Here is the shower area:
It has a hot and cold shower.
Nigi Nigi’s Garden
What I love about the resort was the magnificent landscaping of the garden. It was landscaped as a natural forest. Take note, the resort was a beach-front property but when we got inside the resort, we were like in another location!
Here is the pathway to the different rooms.
There were also some native statues in the resort. It added to the native vibe of the resort. So cool!
Here is Busy’s favorite hahaha, he said these statues were so cute!
The garden was also attractive at night.
Nigi Nigi’s Sports Bar and Restaurant
Aside from the cool rooms, and relaxing garden, the beach resort has a great restaurant.
At night, it was more fun! Most of the guests were foreigners and together with us, Filipinos, we enjoyed the party at night!
The Calamity Survival Band
One great feature of the restaurant was their band the Calamity Survival Band. Here is just a sneak peak of how good they can perform.
The crowd gets wilder at night and so as the band. The band can really get the crowd excited and wanting for more entertainment! Unfortunately, I did not get the video when the party was at the peak haha it was because Busy and I were so in the mood for the party!
By the way, I would like to say kudos to Nigi Nigi’s owners because even though Boracay was closed to the public in the 6-month rehabilitation in April-October 2018, they supported the band and their staff. The owners provided food and lodging for the band and the staff. The band just have to perform every night, even though there were few or no guest in each night. Those who were in the island in the 6-month rehabilitation, enjoyed the performances of the band.
The restaurant was keeping their awesome record in providing delicious and quality food, so they have a service policy. If you do not like anything that they serve, they will be gladly to replace it.
Busy and I had a lot of time thinking what to order because the restaurant has a lot to offer.
Busy ordered the American Breakfast but he requested for rice instead of bread.
American Breakfast Php 340
The American Breakfast was composed of two eggs and bacon, and a side of veggie and oranges. Busy ordered this one because he loves eggs. He was really in the mood for breakfasts.
On the other hand, I ordered one of their specialties, the Oliver’s Twist.
The dish was made out of tangy chicken breast wrapped in bacon and melted cheese with side dish of french fries, a salad, and two slices of oranges.
My dish was perfect! It was so delicious! so tasty! yummy! I felt delightful in every bite! Busy was even jealous of my food hahaha. He said he should’ve ordered one of the restaurant’s specialties.
Due to the hot weather in Boracay, we also ordered fruit shakes.
I ordered Mango shake, and Busy ordered Strawberry Banana Shake.
We also ordered large soft-served ice cream. I had the large vanilla ice cream with Strawberry syrup, and Busy ordered the large vanilla ice cream with Chocolate syrup.
Happy and Busy’s Smileys
Room – The room was tidy and the bed covers and pillows smells good.
Garden – The garden was well maintained even though it was set up to look like a forest. There were no scattered dry leaves or any garbage around.
Restaurant- Even though the restaurant is a party zone at night, it was kept clean by the staff. It looked like nothing happened 🙂
The facilities were all well maintained.
Whatever we requested, it was immediately acted upon.
Value for money
The rates of the resort were very reasonable, considering it was a beach front property and in the heart of Boracay.
Superb location! It was in front of the beach and easy to find! Everybody knows the resort.
Great ambiance! In the restaurant, the ambiance is a party, in the hotel rooms, we felt like we were in another part of Boracay, lastly, as I said a million times, the hotel is just in front of the beach!
If I had a big stomach, I will order all of their specialties! Everything was delicious!
Overall, we wished we could’ve stayed longer so we can enjoy the resort more. But we’ll be back in the resort in our return to Boracay. I hope it will be soon 🙂
Where did the name of the resort originated from?
None! Hahaha the owners just created words which sounds like native. This was also a good marketing strategy because the name will stick into your head and our of your curiosity you will ask what is the meaning of the name. As of this writing, everybody who visited Boracay knows the beach resort by this name 🙂
