From the town to the church…
Walk: Not recommended, it will take you at least 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Vehicle: It will take you at least 1 hour.
Bicycle: Not recommended, it will take you at least 2 hours.
Please take note that there is not a lot of public vehicles in the island. Locals usually use their motorcycle, bicycle, tricycle, or walk towards each destination.

San Jose de Obrero Church
As a part of our South Batan Tour, we passed by the church. As shown in the picture below, the church was located just in front of Ivana Port.
The church faces the great view of the hills and ocean. It was a nice way to enter and end our church visit. It’s like after we prayed inside the church, the fresh ambiance and view of nature welcomed us.
The facade of the church is made out of beige and golden yellow paint.
It is a quaint church, designed simple, just like the usual churches in the provinces of the Philippines.
Busy and I are both Catholics so we went inside and say our prayers. By the way, there is a saying that every time you went inside the church for the first time, you should say 3 wishes. So, Busy and I had our 3 wishes each. There is a lot of churches in Batanes, so we had a chance to say a lot of wishes.
