Beehan Eatery, Basco Batanes

Busy and I had our first lunch in Beehan Eatery during our stay in Basco Batanes. We have decided to eat here because it was just three blocks away from our hotel, Tawsen’s Place Inn. They are also the owner of the eatery.

The eatery is open 7AM to 9PM daily and they serve Filipino food.

Inside Beehan Eatery

When we get inside, we saw the cute chairs outside the actual eatery. It looks cool to eat here, however the weather during our stay was scorching hot! Our skin might be burned instantly if we stay here. Maybe at night, it will be the best time to stay here.

We could just get a picture here…. or not… haha we just immediately went inside the eatery.

The eatery is basically a large nipa hut decorated with inspirational quotes on posters. They have monoblock chairs, and wooden tables.

Menu of Beehan Eatery

Here is the menu for the day. They serve home-made Filipino Food with a very reasonable price. You have to take note that food in Batanes is a bit pricey, so eating here will save you a few bucks.

Food

I ordered Pork Adobo and a cup of rice. It tastes like the usual Pork Adobo of every household.

Busy ordered Fishsilog, the combination of Fried Fish, Sinangag Rice, and Egg. The fish that was served to us is a Flying Fish, which is very abundant in Batanes.

Finally, we had Cornetto Ice Cream for our dessert. Even though the ice cream costs a bit higher here in Batanes than in Manila, we really have to buy one because the weather is really hot!
