Fresh breeze, plus a nice ocean view is what Cabin in the Hills at Mcdom The Villas, in Lian, Batangas offers its guests. That’s why Busy and I together with Sulit Beybeh and the Hungry Byaheros team had an overnight stay to check it out.

Going to the Cabins in the Hills by McDom

After leaving our car in the allotted parking slot, we were assisted by the staff and we walked for around 5 to 10 minutes to the cabin. We first walked along the beach, then one hundred steps up the stairs, so we suggest that you wear comfortable shoes instead of wearing your high heels.

Then, we saw the cabins and stayed in the lower cabin. The lower cabin is around 70 square meters and can accommodate up to 8 people.

Bedroom

Here is the bedroom, there are four queensize beds with two large pillows, two throw pillows, and one blanket each. There are also electric sockets assigned to each bed so there are really enough charging ports.

The bedroom is separated from the other parts by curtains.

Entertainment Area

Then here is the entertainment area, which is located just in front of the bedroom.

We watched different Netflix shows during the night, and played various board games here.

Here are some of the board games, Jenga, Scrabble, Chess, Bingo, plus Roulette Shots, and some comic books of Multo.

Dining Area

Here is the dining area, just beside the entertainment area. We placed all of our food here and had our dinner here.

We really have a lot of food thank you to Aozora for the Maki Platter, Ellaine’s Lomi House for the Pansit and Spaghetti, Teaquilla for the milk tea with alcohol, Pasta House for the Backed Mac, chicken pops, and Coke, and Daisuki for the gallons of milk tea.

Kitchen

Here is the kitchen, it may be small, but it is complete with everything we need.

Comfort Room

There is just one comfort room in the lower cabin, it has a hot and cold shower, a sink, and a bowl, which is just enough for the guests.

Store

If you will be needing more snacks, or drinks, there is a store downstairs that sells a lot of items.

The Beach at Cabin in the Hills at Mcdom

During the sunset, we went out and explored the beach area which features the black sand of Lian, Batangas.

It’s a bit odd because when we get to the ocean, the sand here is not that black, it is actually white.

The sunset looks really good.

So, of course, we used the opportunity to take some pictures.

The Surroundings

During the nighttime and daytime, it is nice to go around the area and look at the nice surroundings, because there are trees on the hills and picturesque areas everywhere.

Public Transportation 

1. Ride a bus going to Lian, Batangas (or Nasugbu, Batangas if you are having a hard time looking for a bus to Lian).
2. Go down at the bus stop in the city.
3. Ride a tricycle to Mcdom Resort.

Private Transportation

1. Go to Lian, Batangas by passing through Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway.
2. At the fork go left towards Lian, Batangas.
3. Turn right at Zorsozo Street.
4. Turn left at H.F Catibog Street.
5. Then, turn right at the end of the street.
6. Do not pass by the ark, turn left instead.
7. Then you can proceed to the parking lot located HERE.
